President’s Elementary · Class of 2004

Were you a President’s Elementary kid from the Class of 2004?

If you were born around 1985 or 1986 and attended President’s Elementary, that’s probably you!

This reunion is built around Mr. Christine’s 1996–1997 fifth grade — the twenty-two blurred out names on that class photo. But one classroom was never the whole school. We remember the rest of the building too: the kids we waited in line with, played four-square with, and passed in the hall for years.

Some of us attended President’s Elementary from kindergarten through sixth grade. Others joined along the way or moved on after just a year or two.

No matter how long you were there, if you were part of the Class of 2004, we’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to request an invitation to our community.

Were you in Mr. Christine’s fifth-grade class?

Then you already belong here!

If you attended Mr. Christine’s class in 1996–1997, there’s no need to join the wider Class of 2004 waiting list. Simply submit an original classmate request using the name you went by in fifth grade. Once we confirm your identity, you’re in — no vote and no waiting list.

I’m an original classmate

However long you were there

There is no minimum number of years and no right way to have been a President’s Elementary kid.

Kindergarten all the way through sixth grade

Seven years in the same building, the same faces in the same halls. You were there for all of it.

You joined us somewhere in the middle

A new kid in third grade, or fifth, or somewhere in between. You still ended up one of us.

Or you were only there a year or two

Families move, schools change. A short stay still counts — you were a President's kid.

How joining works

Four steps, no surprises along the way.

  1. 01

    Send a membership request

Your name, your email, and something that helps us place you — an old photo, the name of a teacher, a friend you kept.

  2. 02

Your request joins the waiting list

Nothing happens on your own. You wait with everyone else who has asked, in the order the class gets to you.

  3. 03

    The original class votes

Alumni of Mr. Christine's fifth-grade class look at your request and vote, once enough of them are taking part.

  4. 04

    You're invited in

If the class approves you, we email you a personal link to make your own account — and the reunion community opens: photos, stories, events and the yearbook.

The rule, if you’re curious: once eight of the original twenty-two are back, five votes with a majority yes admit you. And once you’re in, the reunion is yours to enjoy — admissions votes stay with the original class.

Bring someone with you

Everyone who comes to the reunion can bring a plus one — a partner, a friend, a kid. Your guest doesn’t have to have gone to President’s, and they don’t need to request membership. Just count them in your RSVP once the date is set.

Asking is not the same as being admitted

Being eligible to apply doesn’t guarantee a place. This is a private community, and the original classmates decide together who joins it. Ask anyway — that’s how every one of us got here.
